Brush Creek Players are seeking a cast for “You Know I Don’t Love You” – the 2015 Teen/Young Adult production. Open auditions will be held for actors and would-be actors aged 13 thru mid-20s at the theater (11535 Silverton Road, between Silverton and Salem) at 6 pm on Saturday, July 11, Sunday, July 12 and Monday, July 13. Director Michael Wood will be casting the show using cold readings and other impromptu exercises, so no special preparation is needed.
The script, written by Emily Wood and Michael Wood, visits with the Aldous Huxley High School class of 2005 as they gather for their 10th reunion. Old friendships kindle to become something more, past relationships flare up in the magnifying glass of memory, and yesterday’s heroes explore what it means to pursue your dreams.
The show will open Friday, September 18 and run three weekend (with performances on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays).
