We had a wonderful annual membership meeting — approved the Board’s recommended Bylaws changes (primarily to more readily recognize volunteers as voting members of the organization) and announced next year’s season:

All In the Timing, a set of one-acts written by David Ives and directed by Dixie McCartney. June 9-25. Produced by arrangement with Dramatists Play Service.
The Golden Harp that Saved Silverton (melodrama), written and directed by Norman Gouveia. July 28 thru Aug 13.
Kitchen Witches, written by Caroline Smith and directed by John Sams. Sept 22 thru Oct 8. Produced by arrangement with Samuel French.
Christmas at the Blizzard: A Murder Mystery, written by Emily Wood and Michael Wood, directed by Michael Wood. Dec 1-17. Produced by arrangement with Runaway Art Press.
We also heard a report on the successes of the past 5 years and the Board’s plans for the future. And we recognized volunteers of the year Rick Bittner and Frank Bartruff.
Finally, we elected the following officers to one-year terms beginning January 1: President, Emily Wood; Vice President, Dennis Messman; Secretary, Linda Zellner; Treasurer, Michael Wood. Up to 7 additional Board members will be selected by the incoming President, with the concurrence of the other elected officers, in accordance with the By-Laws.
