“The Odd Couple (Female Version)” Evening Performance
April 18, 2014 @ 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm$10
Unger and Madison are at it again! Florence Unger and Olive Madison, that is, in Neil Simon’s hilarious contemporary comic classic: the female version of The Odd Couple. Instead of the poker party that begins the original version, Ms. Madison has invited the girls over for an evening of Trivial Pursuit. The Pidgeon sisters have been replaced by the two Constanzuela brothers. But the hilarity remains the same.
The female version of The Odd Couple was first presented on Broadway by Emanuel Azenberg, Wayne M. Rogers, and The Shubert Organization at the Broadhurst Theatre on June 11, 1985. It was directed by Gene Saks.
Brush Creek last produced the show a number of years ago, and it was very well received. We are confident this year’s production, directed by Norman Gouveia and produced by special arrangement with Samuel French, will be just as entertaining.
Tickets are $10 general admission with $8 discounted tickets available for seniors 60 and over, children under 12 and all students with ID. Tickets can be purchased at the door 30 minutes before each show and can be purchased in advance at our ticket sale locations — Runaway Art & Craft Studio on downtown Salem’s Commercial Street and Books-N-Time on downtown Silverton’s Water Street.
